"Great EXPECTATIONS"-C



After awhile
  It all smooths out:
The proposed nose job
The preposterous breasts
The not so great house
The people who don't know, but act
like they do-
  It all smoothes out
after awhile
and you find it doesn't so luch matter
after all-
We were meant to go up some
crooked streets
Find inefficient houses
with difficult windows-
We were meant to dance with strangers
who might disappoint,
and find false- hearted lovers--
Butwe were  meant to keep on
loving ourselves
loving others
even when the result
leaves us crying in the rain,
Even when we dream no more..
Evenso, we do learn and we do
grow....
and we go on expecting
hopefully
that after awhile
all turns to honey
our lives....in the flow...
