Making a Poem - C



Well, you know,
it's not that way
making a poem 
to hope it will stay,
to work at it hard
like a 24/7--
You don't catch a bird
that's come from heaven

A poem flies in
and flits about
you can try to catch it
and hope for a  bout,
but like fishing for fish
or flying for fun
the ting is the catching
and that's never quite done

You really can't plan it 
or premeditate
you just have to hasten
and  open the gate...
